1st time gng into Uniqlo!!

on the opening day of Tampines 1 (9th Apr 2009) ~ There was a long queue of 40 to 50 Customers outside Uniqlo, waiting to go in.. so didnt manage to go in on day 1!!

abt 1 month later.. meet shawn ard 9pm @ Tampines 1, wanted to go into Uniqlo to have a look @ their clothings & designs.. The Entrance Shutter were all Closed!! i poor handsome guy holding a signage (Saying ".. We are Closed @ 9pm everyday...") with both hands @ the only exit!! OMG!! No fate to go into UniQlo AH!!!!

2day.. meet shawn 830pm @ Tampines 1.. Planning to have a good 30 mins shopping experience @ uniQlo.. i was late for 15 mins.. left 15mins to shop.. wah.. although it was juz a 15min thingy.. i can really feel the difference how UniQlo Manage their business & how a Singapore Clothing brand manage their Retail Business.. the changing room & the cashier area will give the customer an unforgettable experience.. (maybe for me onli lah..)

1. all staffs probably did went thru some kinda training before starting work @ the Retail Shop.
2. Display layout super Neat & maximized all the floor area to display out every product. cheaper stuff near entrance.. more exp. stuff displayed furthest from entrance, nearer to cashiering point..
3. changing room area.. need to remove shoes before going into changing room.. 2 staffs to manage this area.. Prevent loss.. can serve more customers, as there will always be someone there to help out.
4. Housekeeping was perfect!! it was almost closing.. & everything was still neat & tidy.. floor is still clean.. Power Sia!!

Aiya dun tink so much liao.. time to slp liao ZZZZzzzzz.....

Breeding Bird NEST FERNS!!

this morning woke up @ 815am, Feeling Energetic!! Weather is GOOD!! quite cloudy, not too hot!! changed into my running attire & went for a Jog.

Planned for a 1 hr jog ard bedok reservoir, end up 30+min im dying oledi!! train in the gym's trackmill for almost 1 month.. didnt really improve my stamina @ all.. shit!! waste my time!!

Finished the run @ 930am, Reached home @ 945am.. str8 went down to my bro's new flat @ Tampines 450A.. helped him to took lotsa shots of his new flat.. need to show them to his contractor for planning!!

went back to open shop, saw my Mini Bird Nest Ferns started growing. I simply threw some fresh bird nest ferns in these damped soil.. 2 day ago.. & now im getting some Mini Bird Nest Ferns!! Nature is always so interesting & Surprising to me :)

Finally sold my 1st batch of Hand Printed Tees!!

So happy yesterday!! finish selling e last 4 pieces of my hand printed tees!! probably need to replenish my emulsion this week to do up more designs.. need to replenish my plain round neck T-shirts.. Polo T-shirts.. need to buy lotsa stuff this week!!

juz finished printing 5 pieces of my old cobra design.. did not prepare any emulsion.. screen was previously coated 2 months back.. lucky image was still undamaged :)

This week did lotsa stocktake on my products & my mum's Products.. replenish all my keychains.. Dog Tags.. Plastic tags.. Luggage Tags..

Found a few thousand pieces of full colored flyers in my store.. not yet distributed!! probably next week need to spend 2 afternoons @ AMK HUB distributing flyers.. i promise.. this shall be my last time printing flyers.. it's really a waste of natural resources..

need to sleep!! 2molo muz wake up earlier for some exercise!! Need to complete a 1 hr run 2molo morning!! Zzzzzz......

Buy Properties & Rent out?! Really works in Singapore??

Read so many books by Robert K. All touching on the topic of Real Estate. Buy Hse & Rent them out.. Collect Passive income. in America & many others countries this law can work perfectly great!! but in Singapore.. A 5-room HDB flat can easily cost up to SGD$400K, can be rented for est. $2k.. i simple Condo can easily cost up to SGD$600K, Can be rented for est. $3k..

In America, With the same SGD$400k, you can buy probably 4 to 5 apartments, all rented out @ a lower rate.. probably USD $800 to $1k or SGD$$1200 to $1500.. with the same cost of investment, the profit is est. 3 times more in others countries.

After seeing so many Singaporeans investing so heavily in Singapore's Real Estate Market, sometime i really wonder is this really gng to work for a normal Singaporean to live comfortably in Singapore?!

For Singles who wan2 buy a HDB & Rent it out:

1. Need to be Age 35 & above
2. Need to Fully pay the unit in 3 years in order to rent it out
3. If dun have so much $$.. Take Loan.. can onli rent the unit out after staying in it for 5 FUCKING Yrs!! Somemore need to get approval from HDB in order to rent the whole flat.
4. After renting out your investment unit.. Tenant may not pay you rental on time.. may play you out on the rental.. Owe rental for few months & Suddenly MIA..
5. Some Tenant may even rent out your rooms to other ppl who you dunno know..
6. Illegal tenants will use you hse for their businesses.. if you dun do spot checks, you hse may become a Gambling Den in the day & a homes for the prostitutes @ nite!!
7. Irresponsible tenants will never take care of your hse, they will plug probably 15 electrical socket plugs to 1 socket point.. cooking noodles in the rooms.. shitting in the living rooms.. you may find some unidentified substances on your walls.. produced by the male tenants..
8. come to the worst case.. Tenants killing one another in that unit.. blood stained all over the hse.. police report.. front page on the Newspapers.. who fucking dare to buy your unit in the future?!?

All the above are the more common happenings in Singapore.. there are more interesting cases.. manz... you throw so much $$ into an investment & having to lose slp @ nite.. worry abt all these shit!! MK.. i wanted to say these to you when you told mi abt your plans tat day.. I understand you read Rich D Poor D.. but you really need to think of what is your cost of investment & your returns on your investments.. is it really Feasible in Singapore?? i still think its a 50/50 Thingy!!

Fri suppose to be my offical off day @ Shop, but i still went down to do my stuff!! was a quiet fri!! biz was slow, not much transactions other than the usual cigarettes sales!! however the Singapore stock market is blooming, so @ least feel better after all!!

After work, went home for a quick dinner.. my bro showed me his little souvenir tat he bought back from Bintan!! quite cool!! e young man used a soldering iron to engrave the word "Bintan" & the "date 21 May 2009" on the souvenir.. On the spot!! Super professional!! machiam use a laser engraver do 1!!

after food.. went to meet HB & Adine @ Tampines 1.. i bought a Home Decor Magazine for my Bro!! he will be getting his keys for his new flat next tues morning.. now looking for interior designers.. hope this magazine can help him!! its consolidated wif all the best & better interior designers in Singapore!! all their work looks exactly like wat my dream hse sld looks :)

den.. 3 of us proceed to E! Hub @ Pasir Ris for our overnite KTV Session!! Treat by HB!! i rmb our last session was during HB's Birthday in Nov 2007!! Wow.. tat was 1.5 Yrs ago.. missed those days.. finally we manage to get e time to get 2gether to sing again.. i juz recovered from flu & cough this week.. but after singing a few songs, I'M DEAD!! Cough was back.. another thing.. i'll never bring my Eee PC to do the song recordings anymore.. the Built in mic really really SUX!! MacBook's built in Mic is still the best!!

Sang till 3am.. reached home @ 3.45am.. slept @ 4.15am... this morning woke up @ 8.30am SUPER HUNGRY & cant get beack to sleep.. 2nite need to slp earlier manz...

Brother PR-620 Embroidery Machine!! Anyone wan2 Sell off??

Went down to Brother Service Center wif my brother. Last week, we just went down to collect our old machine tat was sent in for servicing 1 month ago. now its giving me problem again... manz... waited @ brother service ctr for 2 hrs.. finally got our machine back!! met up with lotsa familiar faces.. A madam who sold us our 1st 2 machines @ Plaza Sing's Best Denki few yrs back.. had a long chat with her while waiting for our machine to be repaired. ask her to help us look out for any ppl who wan2 sell away their bigger machines.. i really hope to get 1 of the bigger machines, so i can start embroidering caps.

2 hrs later.. Mr Chan, the technician who help us to service & set up all our Brother Machines for the past 5 yrs.. now we are like old frens meeting up for chat.. he didnt charge us for the repair.. onli charge us for the cost of the part replacement. he still can rmb im interested in the brother PR-620 machine. he agreed to help mi to look out for any of his clients who wan2 sell off & upgrade their machine. hope to get 1 @ half price this yr!!

recall back.. 3 days ago.. was watching BoA's DVD.. she was so professional in her career.. no matter whether she's on stage.. on an interview.. on a photoshoot... studio recording.. she's always giving her very very best!! no matter how cold is the weather.. how tired she was.. she will still perform @ her best condition!! this seriously hit me.. when someone is giving his or her best... ppl can seriously feel it!! now i'll be giving my best into my Business!! i'll continue to change & improve my business.. im not out to compete wif anyone.. im out to create things!!

was planning to get 1 Dog Tag Embossing Machine.. embossed dog tags looks cool.. however onli text, 1 type of font.. no logo & fancy fonts.. tats e boring part.. probably KIV this plan 1st..

After work... Met MK @ Tampines Blk 80X to counter sign some documents.. after signing.. he started telling mi he is planning to invest & rent out houses.. now he's not keeping any $$ in his savings account anymore.. all his $$ are all invested in Stocks, Unit Trust... & Property will be next.. He bought US Citibank shares recently.. invested in HSBC unit Trust & some China Unit Trust.. he say he will hold for 2-3 yrs & he will be fucking rich by den.. he's rite, All the best to him :) however, Citibank Share price may need to increase @ least 80 to 100 times in order for him to buy a 5-rooms HDB flat in singapore.

MK.. i really hope to tell you im happy wif my current situation. pls stop bringing things tat i seriously dun wish to do for now!! Stop asking me to cancel all my manulife plans & buy from you indirectly!! stop giving me your personal advice to invest in this.. invest in tat... but these words will hurt our friendships!! MK, if u are reading this!! Pls.. Pls stop what i've describe above!! Thanks Bro!!

back to Yesterday

Met Mian, Chin & Lim @ Century Sq's Coffee Bean 9pm last nite. 3 of them were like wanting to finish 2 pack of cigarettes (40 Sticks) in 2 hrs.. tats crazy.. esp mian!! he was like smoking continueously for the entire 2hrs..

during the chat.. 3 of them kept asking mi whether i'll be gng back for further studies?? still working wif your parents?? any future plans? wah.. started off like an interview manz.. I noe my answers confirm will bore them to death.. so i quickly ask back mian abt his life & work.. cos i always believe he would have more interesting stuff to share wif us :)

Mian share lotsa of his horrifying encounter in his work. ride bicycle kena chase by 1 village of wild dogs.. take a cab, driver full blasted indian song in the cab!! Kena peak by a old gay in public toilet.. & lotsa more.. i wanted to tell him not to think or take about these bad experience in your life.. if not you will continue to get more of such encounters.. but i think dun think he would believe in wat i would like to say to him.. hope good things can start happening in his life :)

Super SHACKED day!!

since morning.. has been clearing all my workshop.. flooded my back alley & bathroom wif all the cartons of old stocks...

when e metal shelving delivery man came, juz nice i was stuck thinking how to destory e old shelving!! e old uncle say he & his buddy will help us :) Million of thanks to both of them. took them ard 1 hr to dismantle the old shelving & almost 2 hrs to fix up the new shelvings.

in bet. Milson (the Manulife insurance agent who will be replacing Cailing) came to my shop. His shirt was half drenched!! wasnt rainning... It was the Sun!! he saw my shop was all in a mess.. now he believed he sld have come another day.. yesterday over the phone i wasnt joking wif you milson.. i dun usually joke wif strangers.. as he started explaining his stuff to me, the background was filled wif all the BING BING PIANG PIANG of the metal shelvings.. my dad suddenly turn on his radio, blasting the volume to listen to his stock News.. mum was busy answering the fon calls.. hard time for Milson, trying to get 10% of my attention!!

after 15mins, mum complained to Milson, he came @ the wrong time... lotsa stuff & customers are waiting for me to finish their orders.. i can see Milson's face color change liao... probably he had a bad day.. now kena chased by my mum again... bo pian.. he quickly sum up & left in 5 mins..

from ard 4pm... till 745pm... has been non stop doing all the clean up.. shifting all my stuff back to the new shelvings.. chao chao 70 to 80 cartons.. climbing a 12 step ladder.. no Joke!! now back & forearms are fucking Stiff.. probably needa slp early liao!! 2molo need to do up the rest of the mess!!

New shelvings will be down in my workshop @ ard 1pm. hope have got enof time to clear everything b4 1pm!! didnt expect 3 shelvings can cost us $1XXX. i believe they worth the $$$!!

in bet. there's 1 more Manulife agent, Milson, wan2 meet up wif mi 2molo afternoon. i ask him to come on fri afternoon, he say fri he not free.. 2molo he shall enjoy the smell of my sweat!! my old agent, cailing, has quit!! he shall be reporting to follow up on all cailing's clients.. haiz.. every agent either quit or change cpy after 2-3 yrs.. customers always will be the ones tat suffer!!


2molo after work, hopefully have 1 hr to go Tampines One do some shopping. everytime i reach there @ 9+pm.. all the better shops all close liao.. 2molo muz reach the @ 830pm.. wanna shop @ uniqlo & buy some CDs from Music Junction or Popular.. recently over the radio station 93.3FM, heard 3 Chinese songs by "By 2" a Local Twins Duet, 2 Little gers, Age 17, but their songs not bad!! local artise muz support!!
