reading an old book!!

2 days ago.. juz after having my nite shower, saw this book lying on my desk... it has been lying there for the past 1 yr.. but suddenly had this urge to pick it up & read a chapter or two!! it's "Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires, Written by Adam Khoo". Started reading chapter 13, 14 & 15.



he mentioned a writter of "Next door Millionaire (cant rmb the actual title, but its a damn popular book!!)", saying the writter did a survey in america.. over 700++ self made millionaires.. most of them had accumulated a net worth of over USD$10 Millions, but were living like every normal man tat u see on the street. wearing discounted clothings, eating @ normal restaurants, driving old locally made cars, living on a household budget!!



tats true!! very true!!



i was thinking back on 1 of my daily customer, an old retired uncle, est 65 Yrs old, everyday he will come & buy a pack of Cigarette from our shop. he rides an old bicycle, wearing a giodano polo tee, a no brand berms & a pair of $2 slippers tat u can easily buy from any market!! He owns a beautiful 3.5 Storey Detach & a mansionate!! everyday he will do his favourite bonsai @ his roof top, relax ard & still receive Thousands $$ of Incomes generated from all of his investments!!

he told us a joke recently.. he was waiting for his wife to finish her shopping @ Bugis recently.. he came out of the building to have a puff, when this policeman ask him to show his cigarette pack to him!! the policeman suspect tat he was smoking illegal cigarette.. Uncle laughed so happily as he show the policeman his cigarette pack.. he told the policeman,"dun see old ppl dressed like a beggar, & confirm him as a beggar young man!! he may have got a hugh mountain of Gold @ home!! hahaha...."

Probably visit timesbookshop this fri to look for this book recommended by adam khoo. sounds quite interesting to read about how self made millionaires lives their lives!!

it was thursday nite.. rushed down to Challenger @ Tampines One!! reached @ 940pm!! the shutter were half down.. quickly went in to purchase 2 can of Compressed Air to clean all my machines.. wah even prices of compressed air went up so much!!

on the way back, happens to pass by the IKEA Shuttle Bus boarding Pt. Shuttle bus was still waiting for passenger. learnt from the driver, shuttle service ends @ 12 Mid nite.. str8 headed to IKEA to buy this frame!! 100cm by 70cm!! juz nice to display all of my embroidery samples..

4 Days of INTENSIVE Machine Training!!

4 days!! now quite familiar wif the basic usage of DINO!! completed some samples using 5 Different sizes of Tabular Frames, the big Border frame wif the Solid Table & 2 Cap Frames!! still got 2 Sizes of Pocket frames & Cylindrical Frames left for this weekend!! my Headache had not recover since 3 weeks ago.. Damn!! after my sample catalogue is completed, Really need a full day rest!!

So many Boxes & Stuff to be checked according to the equipment list!!

I TOUGH day for Mr Yibo!! he helped me to do the machine setup from 11am to 2pm & Taught me the basic operation till 6+pm (exceeded his norm working hrs). The only thing i can think of is to ask my bro to give u a lift back home. Xie Xie Ni Yibo :)

for the next 3 nites, I'll be camping in my Workshop!!

I was so excited, quickly took a few pics!!

Dino alone already weigh ard 155KG.. image include e cast iron stand & solid wooden table..
chao chao oso 230KG!!

Although Stand not assemble yet.. but i can already feel the fierceness of Dino!!

15-Needles Single Head

Lucky i didnt buy this 5 or 6 yrs ago.. tat time was onli 1 needle.. every color change need to rethread the needle!! kinda Crazy!! But now i can complete a 15 color design without a single rethreading for color change!! Improvement in Technology, ease human's life!!

got 15 Cones of threads free!!

Of cos i choosed the most expensive threads 1st!! haha..

Ai lin & Patrick noes what im thinking :) haha

They even gave me the best thread they can find from their shelves!! Love ya!!

Arrival of IKEA Shelvings!!

2day opened shop slightly earlier, started cleaning up & making space for e 3 new IKEA Shelvings tat will be arriving in the afternoon. SOoooo HAPPY!! 1 more wish is granted for 2009!!

Thank You Uncles!! they spent est. 1hr fixing up 3 shelvings..

If i were to DIY them myself.. it'll probably take me forever to complete even the 1st shelving!!

I love the shelvings, Great job uncles!!

Now my coming to 1 yr old shelving has got a new buddy!!

My plastic Keychain Board is reduced by half!! kinda sad to see hundreds pieces of my handmade plastic keychains packed up in a big plastic bag..

Mum & mi was so excited!! decorated the 3 shelvings for almost 1 hr..
These were to Temporary keep these shelves occupied, once my new embroidery products & samples are out, these shelves will be flooded wif my new creations!!

Kinda Tired!! probably due to lack of exercise!!
hair dropping very seriously recently, must be the over usage of brain cells & STRESS!!
need to eat more fishes to replenish my brain cells..
