2 days ago.. juz after having my nite shower, saw this book lying on my desk... it has been lying there for the past 1 yr.. but suddenly had this urge to pick it up & read a chapter or two!! it's "Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires, Written by Adam Khoo". Started reading chapter 13, 14 & 15.
he mentioned a writter of "Next door Millionaire (cant rmb the actual title, but its a damn popular book!!)", saying the writter did a survey in america.. over 700++ self made millionaires.. most of them had accumulated a net worth of over USD$10 Millions, but were living like every normal man tat u see on the street. wearing discounted clothings, eating @ normal restaurants, driving old locally made cars, living on a household budget!!

i was thinking back on 1 of my daily customer, an old retired uncle, est 65 Yrs old, everyday he will come & buy a pack of Cigarette from our shop. he rides an old bicycle, wearing a giodano polo tee, a no brand berms & a pair of $2 slippers tat u can easily buy from any market!! He owns a beautiful 3.5 Storey Detach & a mansionate!! everyday he will do his favourite bonsai @ his roof top, relax ard & still receive Thousands $$ of Incomes generated from all of his investments!!
he told us a joke recently.. he was waiting for his wife to finish her shopping @ Bugis recently.. he came out of the building to have a puff, when this policeman ask him to show his cigarette pack to him!! the policeman suspect tat he was smoking illegal cigarette.. Uncle laughed so happily as he show the policeman his cigarette pack.. he told the policeman,"dun see old ppl dressed like a beggar, & confirm him as a beggar young man!! he may have got a hugh mountain of Gold @ home!! hahaha...."
Probably visit timesbookshop this fri to look for this book recommended by adam khoo. sounds quite interesting to read about how self made millionaires lives their lives!!
